Coming from Eclipse, IDEA is an awkward fit at first but it quickly grows on you. It's a very capable IDE with a ton of out of the box features (like GIT support) that Eclipse is lacking. But I guess for the price you pay one would expect to see these types of features. I've only briefly looked into the Flex plugin for IDEA, not enough to form an opinion yet. I'm a long time Flex Builder user so the IDEA Flex support would have to be nothing short of amazing to get me to switch away, especially after having used Flash Builder for my most recent project. @Marty Pitt right now I’m only using IDEA for Groovy and Grails development.
